Fine Art
The Art
“Flower Songs” is Cabe Lindsay’s fine art series blending watercolor painting with digital enhancement. These unique artworks feature human figures with a flower for a head—symbolizing the harmony between people and nature. The series highlights three pathways to wellness: holistic health, connection to nature, and spiritual growth.
The Artist
As an artist, Cabe transitions between various forms of artistic expression, but his creative voice remains consistent: whimsical, heart-led, and rooted in reverence. He embraces the playful and the soulful, balancing lightness with depth, and making room for humor, honesty, and wonder in every medium he touches.
The Intention
Cabe works in a state of flow that blends curiosity and joyful experimentation. His guiding philosophy: “Bloom where you are planted.” The work invites others to create from that same place—through the act of blossoming by choice, resilience, and alignment. These artworks are offerings, not performances: made in service to bright ideas.
“Walk In Beauty” is the artwork showcased here. Two blue deer walk side by side down a red dirt road through a desert canyon, symbolizing a sacred way of life. The man, dressed in rugged cowboy attire, and the woman, in a flowing red gown, blend elegance and strength as ravens soar above—guides of transformation and spirit. With stars above a white setting sun, this scene honors the sacred “red road” of purpose, respect, and reverence for the natural world.

The song evokes indigenous influences and cowboy poetry alike. Its music video—crafted entirely from hand-painted watercolor animation—brings this mythic world to life, where two souls from different tribes meet by destiny and discover love, bravery, and connection with the sacred. With flute, guitar, and drum guiding the way, Brave Spirit invites listeners to embody courage, honor the mystery, and dance with the spirit that rises with the moonlight.
A Journey of Love and Freedom
From the 2024 album Lover Songs, We Used To Run by Cosmic Butterflies tells the story of two wild souls who meet in nature and share a spirited dance. With a psychedelic rock sound and a Santana-inspired groove, the song evokes the imagery of two sacred horses running free, their love thundering through every vein, and their flight carrying them into boundless skies. The music video blends this mythic love story with a visual celebration of freedom, memory, and connection to the natural world. At once tender and powerful, We Used To Run invites listeners to remember where they come from—and to feel the eternal pulse of love that sets us all in motion.
A Song Exploring the Ranges of Fear and Love

Films
Wisdom for the Future, Spoken from Tradition
Directed, filmed, and written by Cabe Lindsay, Voices of the Grandmothers (2021) is a documentary that carries the living wisdom of indigenous elders into the modern world. Through intimate interviews, prayerful imagery, and story-centered filmmaking, Cabe weaves a cinematic invitation to remember our shared roots and listen deeply to the teachings of the Earth. The film asks a simple but urgent question: “The Grandmothers are speaking—are we listening?”
Featuring Grandmother Flordemayo, Grandmother Perci, Grandmother SaSa, Grandmother Moetu-Taiha, Reverend Grandmother Eila Paul, and more, the documentary honors voices of strength, healing, and cultural continuity. Cabe’s vision for the film was to create both a prayer and a call to action—one that invites viewers to walk with wisdom, restore reverence, and carry these stories forward for future generations.
A Story of Resilience, Community, and Hope
Directed, filmed, and co-written by Cabe Lindsay, Pontiac—Roses Through the Thorns is a documentary portrait of a city shaped by industry, loss, and unshakable spirit. Through on-location cinematography, archival storytelling, and firsthand accounts from residents and community leaders, the film traces Pontiac’s journey from its automotive legacy to the creativity and resilience still rooted in its streets today.
The documentary serves as both a love letter and a challenge—reminding viewers that every place carries stories worth tending, just as roses push through concrete to bloom. The full film is currently in festival submission and available for private screenings. The official trailer offers a first glimpse into the heart of Pontiac and the people who continue to rise through adversity.

Trending Techniques and Creative Leaps in AI Animation
The 2025 music video for “Path of Love” by Cosmic Butterflies features a polar bear cub in an epic search for his mama bear, at a fragile time of global warming. This represents the current trailblazing AI animation capabilities of Adobe Firefly in a short film created for the AI Animation Competition by Promise + Curious Refuge. Another example of Firefly's AI generative art is “Close To You,” from the album Lover Songs (2024).
These three pioneering AI animated videos come from the early era before AI generative art met the masses. Deforum Stable Diffusion and Google Colab were the specific technologies we used generate these stunning animations. Before generative AI art hit the mainstream, these underground tools allowed boundary-pushing artists and innovators to create stunning, dreamlike visuals—especially for music videos. This era was a kind of digital renaissance, where open-source innovation met poetic imagination.

Veggie Bros–An Animated Adventure About Two Talkative Eggplants
Meet Larry and Leon—two talkative eggplants who discover they can think, feel, and even scoot across the cutting board. What begins as small talk quickly turns into big questions about life, fear, friendship, and bliss—all under the shadow of a kitchen knife. Veggie Bros is a surreal cartoon about resilience, humor, and finding joy in the most unlikely places. Playful, philosophical, and just a little absurd, it’s as if Pixar met Monty Python in a vegetable drawer.
The Veggie Bros story first sprouted in 2004, when Arise filmmaker Cabe Lindsay began drawing eggplant cartoons for an organic farm marketing campaign. Decades later, these quirky characters evolved into a full-fledged animation project—brought to life during the creative quiet of 2020. At its heart, Veggie Bros is a story about willpower and perspective. What happens when two veggies wake up to their own consciousness? They start questioning everything—and discover the power of gratitude, humor, and choice along the way.
Beyond its laughs and lovable characters, Veggie Bros celebrates creativity as a form of resilience. The series is designed to delight children while offering tongue-in-cheek wisdom for adults—encouraging everyone to look on the bright side of life and dance with whatever’s on the cutting board.

World of Woo—Comedy Tarot Reading
Step inside World of Woo, where tarot cards, crystals, and psychic visions collide with comedy. In this episode, Jim visits Miss Lala for a tarot reading to seek guidance on romance, and destiny. But between vegan dragon smoke, Archangel Gary’s feather, and the Death card, things get hilariously out of hand. Performances by Cabe Lindsay and Audrey Love.
World of Woo is a comedy variety show, putting a playful spin on all things woo-woo. Expect laughter, parody, sarcasm, and magic. Our intention is to help normalize the woo-woo. This is meaningful work, because spiritual diversity is often marginalized, ridiculed, or misinterpreted in popular media. We aim to spark curiosity, hold conversations, and honor all walks of life.
