Sharing the Stories that Matter Most
“A picture paints a thousand words.” Sure, that’s true. Imagine how many more words are spoken through moving pictures. Literally, videos show a thousand pictures in 42 seconds. How many additional words are painted through the spoken words, and the music? It’s easy to understand why videos are enthralling works of art. As far as documentary filmmaking goes, the main value-adding qualities of documentary-style videography include: authenticity and artistry.
Documentary films and photos offer us the benefits of recalling fond memories, evoking emotions, and facilitating sharing. Documentary filmmaking requires advanced skills in camera operation, because videographers must be quick and agile as they capture the candid action. For mobility, our corporate video production crew carries lightweight camera equipment and we move like ninjas. Similarly, our wedding videographers work intelligently, in synchronized teams, capturing the magic moments from all the essential angles.

Our big screen debut, Wild Family, is a feature-length documentary about parenting outside-the-box, released in 2015. This film premiered at the Alamo Drafthouse in our hometown of Austin, Texas. See the film in its entirety on Amazon Prime Video and Films For Action.
The story of Wild Family is as follows. Eight-months pregnant with their third child, the parents of preschoolers trail blaze across the U.S.A., cameras firing. They record the stories of 40 wild families, exploring new ways to raise kids. Through outdoor adventures and in-depth interviews, their findings reveal a wide range of family dynamics. FYI, the film’s passion and intrigue led to a spin-off variety video series called Wild Family TV.

Water protectors speak in support of the Standing Rock Movement
Standing in Solidarity with the Standing Rock Sioux is a documentary short film, presenting the Standing Rock movement. Mid-November, 2016, thousands of water protectors gathered as a singular family on the campgrounds surrounding the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation. Together, the people who stand with Standing Rock represent a great healing of the First Nations, leading to a unification of all tribes—red, yellow, black, and white.
In the Lakota language, “Mni Wiconi” means “Water Is Life.” This is the rallying cry of the Standing Rock Movement. This peaceful and prayerful form of activism is about the protection of water itself, and the sanctification of water as sacred, essential, life-giving element. The “Water Protectors” are diverse in their demographic backgrounds, and yet they stand in solidarity as a community of supporters, observers, and participants.
