Capturing Keepsakes to Make Meaningful Moments
“Art is not what you see, but what you make others see,” says artist Edgar Degas. When you show up in front of a camera, you reveal the star you are. A 5-star photography session will invite you to sparkle, radiate, and reveal all the best of your true colors, brilliant and beautiful.
The truth is that Arise is a video studio, first and foremost. Yet, we have always included photography as an essential part of our camera sessions, because we recognize the greater need for photos. We do offer photo sessions too, of course. We also offer videography as an option for our photography packages.

Commercial Portraits
Taking care of our furry friends
We pride ourselves on being specialists in “dogumentary” photos and films. With our cameras, one of our greatest joys is our work for Firehouse Animal Health Center. We have the pleasure of capturing the action with pets, creating bio portraits and videos. Let’s take a look at some of our camera work while we shine the spotlight on an outstanding business with six locations across Austin.
“Cabe is such a fantastic person and photographer to work with! He was very punctual, communicative, and very easy to work with. Cabe also got the photos out to us in about three days time, had a separate portfolio for the print option sections with higher resolution.” —Yasmine Moayedi-Azarpour
Sometimes you take a photo. Sometimes a photo takes you.
One of our studio's most successful commercial campaigns relies on the rose as a symbol of femininity and grace. These portrait photos showcase 40 women who joined forces to create the Global Sisterhood Pledge, inviting women worldwide to unify. This advertising campaign stirred massive shares on social media.
“Fantastic results! Incredible photography and videography. They are visionaries and genuinely amazing people. You will be glad you chose to work with them!” —Sarrah Rose
Keeping the world fit, one photo at a time
This commercial photography project featured a team of fitness instructors, demonstrating how to use the kettlebell and battle ropes. These photos support the Living.Fit brand, promoting the Kettlebell Kings product line. Our camera team also produced hundreds of training videos, helping the business to build a tremendous following on YouTube and social media networks.
“The skill that they bring to all aspects of media really makes this a one stop shop for your needs. Great cinematography, and a beautiful artistic devotion to every frame.” —Dave Francis
Special Events
Commercial Photography for the Austin Food + Wine Festival
Austin Food + Wine Festival is a vibrant celebration of Austin's diverse food scene. The annual event attracts food enthusiasts, chefs, winemakers, and industry professionals, providing a platform for culinary education, exploration, and appreciation. Culinary offerings include signature dishes from local and guest chefs, with a wide array of cooking demonstrations, resulting in exceptional tasting sessions. Alongside the main festival activities, live music and entertainment contribute to the overall festive atmosphere. Our camera team captures the festival action on film and photos, for unforgettable food and wine delights.
Showing true colors in a classic Quinceañera
In the traditional Quinceañera event, we celebrate a 15-year-old's rite of passage. This photo session was especially festive because of the opportunity to travel to multiple locations via limo bus. We attended a religious ceremony in a Catholic church, where we found reverence. We visited a popular mural site, where we found elegance among the grunge. We even stopped for Slurpees at 7-Eleven.
“They truly went above and beyond capturing not only the wedding and its guests but also the beautiful surroundings of the venue. Not a moment was missed by this team. We really appreciate them and their attention to detail. I highly recommend Arise for your event.” —Taylor Numbers
Documenting the natural elements in a sacred ceremony by the riverside
This barefoot wedding ceremony took place in the Onion Creek, immersed in nature, with cottonwoods, butterflies, and songbirds. The Austin Greenbelt gives us lush green environments, ideal for outdoor weddings and other occasions for photography. Through every season, the Texas Hill Country presents a captivating natural landscape and a playground for fantastic photos.
“Cabe Lindsay has the clear eye to see and capture the essence of the moment. He has a great heart too, and that allows him to reveal people's shine and warmth in pictures.” —Felipe Rendon
Adventure
The Dream Come True of Waking Up
In 2016, we responded to the call for photo journalists, supporting the Standing Rock Movement in North Dakota. This event called people of all tribes to stand together as water protectors. It was an honor to serve in this peaceful and prayerful form of activism, documenting the action on camera.
“Their eye for the aesthetics of a project, their ability to hold the energy and space for the subject to be themselves and communicate clearly and effectively, and their ability to balance the pragmatics of a shoot to stay on schedule and capture the needed information is exceptional.” —Jonathan Itchon
Embarking on Kidventures with Friends
“Arise did a beautiful job with our family portraits! The session was professional and fun!” —Mike Johnston
Art
Documenting the arts in an artful way
Artistic compositions are inviting, intriguing, and dazzling. For example, we visualized the talents of Austin aerial dancer Tolly Moseley, dancing under a tree in the Texas Hill Country.
“The shoot process itself was absolutely magical...an unforgettable day! And of course, the final product (video and photos) blew my mind. It was exactly the tone / mood / quality I wanted, and we went through a single round of edits to get the video itself just right.” —Tolly Moseley
Art supports art
Photography goes hand-in-hand with musicians, dancers, and other performance artists. Art photos look clean, green, pristine, in some instances. For example, Austin performance artist Jenna Jasso displays natural beauty simply by being in her element in yoga postures by Lady Bird Lake.
Everyone wins when the arts are documented in an artful way. Operating a camera is blend of art and science, so the goal in art photography is to find the gems and highlight them. Being behind the camera is a blast whenever an artist makes a statement of expression and connection.
